Kolmanskop

Today we had the privilege to visit a photo studio based in Kolmanskop. Next to the (tourist) restaurant this is the only inhabitant left in Kolmanskop which is now a ghost town. It goes without saying that Kolmanskop is a photographers dream - after all the studio isn’t based their because of the lovely neighbours.

So we spent most of the day running around Kolmanskop making pictures of every window, door, ceiling house etc. Everything! I’ve just edited some pictures on my computer and uploaded them here in the gallery. I’ll also be receiving photography lessons from now on. I’m very excited.

After exploring Kolmankop we went on to Aus - yes the place I just returned from - to see the wild horses that live here. Looking at the horses we started a braai and had a lovely lunch/dinner. We even tried how close we could come, and we could get within an inch of the horses, stunning!

After all a lovely sunday, with as only down side waking up at 7.

mooi foto’s hid!wanneer heb je dat internet nou eens geregeld?! haha
ik moet donderdag optreden (en mezelf redelijk voor lul zetten haha) in een klas die ik heb met alleen maar eindexamen kandidaten…jaa balen. en het is improvisatie dus ik kan niet eens echt oefenen haha
achja ik ga het gewoon doen en dan weten ze wat ze de komende weken kunne verwachten van mijn jazz improv vermogen haha. ik zie ze hierna toch nooit meer

Hoi lieverd!
Die ene foto van die voorgeven van dat huis ziet er best spooky uit zeg! Mooie foto’s hoor! Ik geloof dat je het tot nu toe allemaal alleen maar leuker gaat vinden daar, ik ga ervan uit dat die stijgende lijn nog even aanhoudt! haha
